Damiana Plants

Damiana

Damiana grows in South America and the West Indies. It was previously called Tumera aphrodisiaca and is a tonic to the nervous system and the reproductive system. It raises the spirits and is particularly useful if sexual function is impaired. It is traditionally a remedy for men, but the stimulant and tonic effects work well for women, too.

We have to used the leaves and the stem of the plant and 1 teaspoon to a cup of water twice a day.

Damiana is harvested when flowering and dried for use as an antipressant, to relieve anxiety and to improve sexual function.
