VALERIAN PLANT Really has a big HELP
This valerian is not the jolly read or white plant seen decorating walls, but a tall herb with whitish pink flowers that grows in damp places. When dried the root has a characteristics earthy smell that attracts cats.
Valerian root has a powerful sedative effect on the nervous system and reduces tension and anxiety very effectively. It can be used to reduce hyperactivity, palpitations, spasm, period pain and tranquilizer withdrawal. It is especially useful if anxiety makes sleep difficult.
Used the dried root, and 1 teaspoon to a cup of boiling water at bedime.
